Taurus Investment Buys South Jersey Industrial Assets

Taurus Investment Holdings has acquired a five-building, 339,136-square-foot shallow-bay industrial portfolio in the South Jersey/Philadelphia market, now fully leased to 22 tenants. Taurus’ substantial growth in the US industrial sector totals over 18 million square feet across 12 states.

The firm plans to develop a new 64,500-square-foot Class A industrial property on an adjacent parking field and implement rooftop solar panels across four existing assets and the new development under the New Jersey Community Solar Program, making the portfolio carbon-negative by offsetting emissions by over 300%.

“This acquisition, based on the strength of the shallow-bay market and an extremely limited competitive supply, demonstrates our team’s ability to source unique opportunities, ” said Peter A. Merrigan, CEO of Taurus.
