Prepare for long flights this summer with Sony ANC headphones from Amazon Prime Day

With summer in full swing, you’re quite likely to be spending several hours on a plane to your vacation destination. Your flight will be made more pleasant and quiet with the right active noise-canceling (ANC) headphones. We already looked at Apple AirPods offers for Prime Day, now let’s check out the Sony headphones.

We’ll start with the Sony WH-1000XM4. While they have been supplanted by the XM5, these offer better bang for your buck with similar features at a noticeably lower price. Check out our reviews for more details.

The WH-1000XM5 have updated ANC, which blocks out more noise in the mid and treble range, though it’s not as good as blocking bass. The XM5 are also lighter and have a better headband, but the padding on the cups isn’t as nice.

If those are too pricey, the WH-XB910N are a cheaper over-ear option. They are comfy and have good noise cancellation, just not as good as the XM4. And they have very long battery life to boot.

There are also a couple of TWS buds. The WF-1000XM4 are a relatively compact package with up to 10 hours of continuous play time and a decent ANC system, which is better at blocking out speech than engine noise. They are also more comfortable than the old XM3 model.

Again there is a cheap option, the Sony Sony WF-C700N at half the price. The ANC isn’t great, but these are lightweight and comfy buds with good battery life (up to 8 hours).
