New Poster for FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA Gets a New Poster

Here’s a new poster for director George Miller’s badass-looking action-adventure movie, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga!

The poster features Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth as Furiosa and Warlord Dementus. The two characters will find themselves battling each other in the movie, and it looks like it’s going to take us on and insane ride!

In the film, “As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”

Miller previously talked about the movie and revealed that the story takes place over the course of 15 years and that it leads directly into the events of Mad Max: Fury Road. Miller shared:

“The story is the saga of Furiosa, and how she gets taken from home, and spends the rest of her life trying to get back. [In] Fury Road, the story unfolds over three days and two nights. This film follows the story that runs directly into Fury Road, for 15 years.”

Miller went on to say that, “It’s a different animal. It’s got many different locations. It’s an odyssey. No question.” As for a possible appearance from Max Rockatansky himself, Miller said: “I won’t give away too much about that. All I’ll say is, Max is lurking there in the background.”

The cast includes Tom Burke, Angus Sampson, Nathan Jones, Daniel Webber, Lachy Hulme, and Quaden Bayles.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is scheduled to hit theaters on May 24, 2024.
