Brookfield Properties announced BBVA’s relocation of its NYC headquarters to Two Manhattan West, the final addition to the Manhattan West development. BBVA will occupy around 74,000 square feet across floors 8-9 in the 58-story tower, planning to move by late 2024.
With this, Two Manhattan West surpasses 80% occupancy, joining other major tenants like KPMG, Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, Clifford Chance, and the D.E. Shaw Group. The skyscraper, boasting LEED-Gold certification, offers various amenities, ties to transit hubs, and sustainable features, notably sourcing all electricity from renewable sources by utilizing run-of-river hydropower facilities.
“This is one more step in our growth plans in the US, as well as in our commitment to sustainability, by choosing a building powered by renewable energy,” said Regina Gil, Head of BBVA CIB in the U.S. Brookfield Properties was represented by in-house team Duncan McCuaig, Mikael Nahmias, Dave Caperna, and Dan Roberts.
