Avanath’s Daryl Carter to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award from AAREP LA

African American Real Estate Professionals Los Angeles Chapter (AAREP LA) will present the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award to Avanath Capital Management founder, chairman and CEO Daryl J. Carter. The award will be presented Feb. 27 at AAREP LA’s 6th Annual Market Trends Breakfast.

The honor recognizes Carter’s accomplishments throughout his nearly 43 years in real estate investment, his commitment to supporting and nurturing diverse talent in the industry, the status he has achieved as an inspirational leader, according to AAREP LA [resident Kimberly Brown.

“There is no question that Daryl is an exemplary leader whose success is admirable, and that he has built a virtually unmatched reputation amongst his peers and those coming up in the real estate industry,” said Brown. “But what truly sets Daryl apart is his unwavering commitment to prioritizing investment in historically overlooked communities throughout the country through his work with Avanath and continued advocacy—and his ability to inspire and open up opportunities for others to do the same.”
