Companies will occupy anywhere from one office space, starting at 1,225 square feet, to whole buildings. The quoted price is $325 per square foot,
The buyers encompass 56 companies, from architects and engineering firms to accountants and recruiting companies. The Houston Business Journal reports the Pelican Ridge is building the second phase of another office condo project, the roughly 50,000-square-foot 1463 Office Park at FM 1463 and Cook Field Road, about 2.5 miles west of Katy Offices at the Boardwalk.
The Katy Boardwalk District was started in 2021 with a four-story, 319-unit apartment building. It will eventually feature a 304-room hotel with a 42,940-square-foot conference center, more than 140 townhomes and single-family homes, and 11 acres of retail, dining, entertainment and office space.
